Designed and made in Delhi, using materials and craft techniques sourced across India, Lovebirds has built an international fashion language without losing its connection to the ecosystem in which it was created.

Best known for their dresses, Amrita Khanna and Gursi Singh presented a broader wardrobe, with embroidery featuring prominently throughout the collection. Bold yet subtle, much like the designers themselves, the Spring/Summer 27 show, INDIA: IYKYK, speaks in a visual language that is unmistakably Indian yet entirely international. It is no easy task, but making India itself the muse, rather than any particular individual, is a clever move: an endlessly rich source of inspiration.

With five stores already in India, Lovebirds has developed something of a concept-store sensibility, bringing together fashion, design and culture in a way that recalls the spirit of 10 Corso Como, Dover Street Market or the early days of Joseph.
